What do we do?
- We have regular meetings which will be held until further notice at the African Caribbean Centre on Maidstone Road on the second Tuesday of every month from 7pm until 8pm. Everyone is welcome – including people who work in the area. One of our local councillors usually attends and often the police so we can tell them of any difficulties we have and they can they let us know what they are doing. We also discuss the many projects we run and lobby the city council and other agencies if we have any concerns.
- Recent projects include a street party, away days to places of interest, litter picks to improve the area and working with the city council to improve amenities such as Onslow Park.
- DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC ALL MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES OF THIS GROUP ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED.
