Message received from Eurovia Contracting 27 July 2019

Due to wet weather conditions predicted over the course of the weekend, it has been necessary to cancel the full carriageway closure for this weekend. The closure was due to commence at 7pm Saturday through to 5am on Monday morning.  We had set aside a contingency for Monday through to Friday next week, in the case of any circumstances arising that would not allow us to complete the surfacing within the original program.

I confirm that we plan to carry out the programmed works early next week to include daytime and evening works and will advise on Monday of the new schedule.

The team on site here in Leicester and our client would like to take the opportunity of thanking you for your patience during this really busy time. Your help is really appreciated by us all.
